I wish I had a picture to illustrate this story but I left my camera in Arizona. I probably wouldn't have had my camera with me at the store anyway. But here's what happened. We were at D.I. and I was shopping for some new pants for myself. Because let's face it. These last 10 or so pounds of baby weight are not going anywhere very fast. And in a few short months it will be cold weather and I'll still be wearing my one pair of capris and the same elastic waist skirt. So anyway... why fight it? I just went and bought some new, bigger size pants.
I instructed the older two to each watch a specific younger sibling while I tried my pants on in the dressing room. One went to look at electronics (looking for a CD player) and the other went to the toys. I finished up and Bryce was screaming hungry. I found a nice, soft, used chair to sit in and nurse Bryce (I know...I'm pretty high class). I looked up to where the kids were and found 3 out of 4. Where was #4? It wasn't long before the nice voice over the intercom announced that they had a lost girl up front. It was no mystery to me who that child was so I sent the other 3 kids off to retrieve her.
A couple of minutes later, little #4 came strutting over to me, her arms full of toys. FULL of toys!!! It was so adorable. I'm not sure if someone found her and took her to the front of the store because she looked lost or if they stopped her on her way out the door, trying to take the toys without paying. (wink wink). She sat next to me while I nursed and played with her toys. A few minutes later, I looked down at her and noticed that one of the price tags was stuck to her shoulder.
Its a good thing we found her when we did. She's so darn cute, someone might have taken her to the register for $0.75. .JPG)
