Easter 2013

Easter was a beautiful weekend. Saturday morning was the annual cul-de-sac easter egg hunt, only I was the only one at home. Ster took the kids bright and early and met my Dad at BYU for the Cougar football scrimmage. So I filled and hid the eggs myself and then walked with everyone from house to house to hunt for eggs. I missed not having my kids running to me between each house and showing me the eggs they had collected. It was a little taste of what's to come when I won't have those little ones running around my ankles all the time. I'm not ready for that to end and am sure glad I have lots more years to enjoy the phase of life I'm in right now.

When the kids finally came home, we colored easter eggs.

Sunday morning, the baskets were dutifully hid, without much fanfare to the easter bunny because that's not my style. Each basket had a little candy, a few real eggs and shiny new book to read. After church, we headed to my parents house with my Easter specialties, butterhorn rolls and ribbon jello, that took me all Saturday to prepare. Soooo worth it! My mom had a fun, color coded, easter egg hunt prepared for the kids.

Here are Camille and Rachel checking out what they got. Some eggs had candy. Others had money or a small toy. It really was a treasure hunt.

My kids sure love their grandparents. I love that all of them sort of gravitated to Grandma at the end of the evening.

Bishop love

Our house got Heart Attacked!
It was such a beautiful sight to come home to.
It's always nice to hear "Thank You!"
Those little love bugs have found a place in all of our hearts. I kept finding them around the house, hiding, for many days.
Thank you for supporting and loving the Bishop. He loves you too.
