Counting toes

This is the face Bryce uses when he's being a "bad guy!" Sometimes he balls his hands into tight fists, makes a mechanical sound with his mouth and then slowly opens his fingers like sharp claws. It's adorable.

Here's more of him being just adorable!!!!

Ski Day for Scouts

With Parker now in the 11 year old scout troop, scouting is in full swing at our house. Sterling really keeps Parker going and focused on merit badges and other scout activities.

When the opportunity came up to get a cross-country skiing badge, Sterling jumped on it. They spent the night in a cabin with some other scouts and received instruction and a great ski experience.

The one that stands out the most in my mind, as mom, was the one where the went skiing the night they got there, in the dark, before the majority of instruction. That's when Parker fell and almost slid off the mountain. Yeah, not so sure about these merit badges.

Parker was all smiles though.

New Year 2014-15

We spent New Years with our cousins. We were each supposed to bring an activity. So the girls helped me load up these balloons with treats as a count down to midnight! Boy, what an adventure that was. I tried to hold open the neck of the balloon while they shoved toys or treats or whatever into the balloon. Definitely harder than it looks. We laughed a lot in the process.

The cousins had so much fun being together. They always do. I am so grateful my kids have cousins whom they can also count as friends!

Bryce got tired pretty early on and camped out on the couch until he fell asleep. He was the only sleeping baby. Sure love that boy!

At midnight, we popped the final balloons and made quite a ruckus with noise-makers and firecrackers.
