Girls Camp

Sydney and Camille went to ward Girl's Camp!

They had the best time having fun, goofing off, learning the gospel, doing crafts, playing in the lake, feeling the Spirit. and bonding as sisters and friends.

On the way home, they stopped by FIZ and helped Camille celebrate her 13th birthday.

Spring Break day 1: Grand Canyon d1

We took Friday off of school and left for spring break early.
Sterling rented a suburban and the kids were so excited about the fact that it had two screens to watch movies on.

Which picture is staged and which one is real?

We made it to the south rim of the grand canyon in good time! And it was gorgeous! We found our campsite, complete with roaming mama elk. Then we walked around the rim and took in the grandeur of this amazing national park. You can see the grand canyon from outer space.

We all fit quite comfortably in our family tent. Stacked like sardines hoping that it would keep us warm.

Girl's Camp

These two girls were super excited to go to Girls Camp together. Camille turned 12 on Thursday and only four days later went to camp. So Fun!

Except for Rachel.
After their bonding in Coeur d"Alene, it was hard to let her best friend go.
But Camille was still as excited as could be.

For the last four or so years, our girls camp has always been a stake camp. This year they went just as a ward. It was smaller and simpler and they had so much fun as a ward sisterhood!

Back at home, we really missed our girls and were anxious for them to come home!!!
Yay for girls camp!

Father and Son Campout

The boys look forward to Father and Son Campout every year. But I think Sterling looks forward to it even more. He loves spending time with his boys.

For Bryce, there is no shortage of friends his age! Lucky guy!

Good Morning, Parker!

Scout Camp

Parker went to Scout Camp at Camp Bartlett in Idaho this year. Because he was only 11, Sterling had to go with him. They had a great time. Wish they could do this blog post instead of me though. So mostly, I'll just post the pictures.

Awesome leaders. They deserve lots of blessings for what they do during camp week. Wow!

Hiking to an ice cave in Paris, ID.

Parker earned 6 merit badges during the week. It was a lot of work with a lot of fun mixed in as well.
